In Development

"hitzefrei"

Synopsis:

A documentary about climate change. The arctic Inuit complain about rain instead of snow during winter, towns off the coast of Bangladesh struggle with frequent floods, and Moroccan farmers have to plow through the soil that has become arid from droughts. The results of climate change are not a rumor, not a contingency. Throughout the last century there has been obvious climatic evidence that lead even the G8 had to admit: climate change is manmade. While industrial nations pollute the environment to sustain their high living standard, the developing nations are the first to feel the disastrous effects of this carelessness. There are definitely ideas for possible solutions, but the developing nations are lost without the aid of their industrialized counterparts.
